Do I need to understand trademark classes?+
No. You describe your business; we work out the goods, services and classes. You can view the technical details any time, but you don't have to.
Is my application filed straight away?+
No. Every application is reviewed by a person on our team first. We only file once that review is complete, and we'll tell you the moment it's submitted.
Will my trademark definitely be registered?+
No one can promise that. The UK IPO examines every application and others can oppose it. Our Trademark Check helps you spot potential issues early.
Are you trade mark attorneys?+
No. We're an independent application service, not a firm of registered trade mark attorneys or solicitors, and we don't give legal advice. For complex disputes we'd recommend a registered attorney.
What's the ® symbol?+
You can only use ® once your trademark is registered — using it before then is an offence in the UK. Until then, ™ is fine.
